The first event of the Professional Training Advocacy Series: Career Counselor Education in California

Join CCDA on Friday, November 19th for a panel discussion to start a conversation on the state of career counselor education in California. This is for both prospective and current career development professionals (regardless of degree) to help connect with other career development professionals as well as brainstorm advocacy opportunities to increase professional training and development programs for career counselors in California. During this event, you will also become familiar with possible opportunities to become lecturer faculty and collaborate with graduate traineeship programs to work with and supervise career counseling interns in your organization.

The next events in this series will continue the conversation with more representatives from other regions and professional counseling, psychology, and related certificate programs in California.

Panel Presenters:

Rachael C. Marshall PhD; California State University, Sacramento

David Paul, PhD, NCC, LPC; California School of Professional Psychology, Fresno at Alliant International University
